Nursing Aide II course is 173 clock hour course. Tasks include oxygen therapy, removal of fecal impaction, sterile dressing changes, IV fluid assistive activities, ostomy care, gastrostomy feedings/nasogastric feedings, and catheterizations. Classroom, laboratory and clinical learning experiences are included. The individual will be verified by Program Coordinator, apply to be listed on the NA II registry. Will not be able to use credentials until listed on the NA II registry.

1. High school diploma/GED
2. Neg TB Skin test
3. Able to pass drug screening and background check FELONY ON RECORD WILL RESULT IN A "NO" AT CLINICAL SITE.

5. Submit proof of Hepatitis B vaccine or signed vaccine declination form.
